On this day and age, when your news feed are all tailored to anything you follow, have you ever feel that you’re really fed up with your social feed? Oh it’s the pic I saw weeks ago. Oh, that video? Already saw it, not funny. No, fucking not this meme again. Well, it’s true that looking for original content is just like looking for a good weed, or as the interwebz might say, a rare pepe, or a dank meme (Oh, the irony).   So,   In accordance to that, this post will be about original content. Today's original content will be about "Ampu", I bet nobody writes things about ampu. So the question is what in the seven hells is that? It's the name of the street I lived in, yeah great, so what? Lame name for a lame street. Why, you ask? Well, the story is I lived in a housing for military vets, no, not veterinarians but veterans, so the street names are all army related. Meriam, kanon, roket, artileri, tank, you name it. And ampu, yeah when I compared the names to other streets I was confused too, what the fuck is ampu?   After doing some research, I found out that Ampu is the stationary thing that support the cannon. Lameee. Why can’t I live in a street called rocket? it would be so fucking cool. So the purpose of ampu, when the cannon is busy firing and slightly moves up and down, is to not to move and stand still to keep the cannon steady. In English term it’s called transoms. Head here to find out more interesting tidbits about cannon.   Talking about street names is original, but where's the fun in that? So I guess I might share another original content, which is the website I frequently visit when I was sitting my ass in the house that lied on this godforsaken street (it’s not even named in the google maps!). Here's the seven things (I just obsessed with number 7, I’ll write in depth post about it later) that ooze originality:   1. Reddit Ah, the timeless classic. I remember visiting this site back in 2012, and never left it since. Here you can find the origins of all things you see on the internet. Well that’s hyperbolic and way past due, but reddit has many things to offer, the contents, the community, the inside jokes, many things. If you ever feel confused by its front page, you reddit noobs can start with r/askreddit or r/IAmA   2. Soundcloud My go-to when I’m looking for new music. Great contents, easy to interact with, great interface. If you follow musician in soundcloud here and there, your feed will be filled with new music every day. I even downloaded the apps. It’s free, go nuts.   3. Wikipedia Every student's best friend, or every student’s wet dream. If you look at the bigger picture, Wikipedia is a project for the greater good. It list all the knowledge known to human, and created by the crowd. It’s like the library of Alexandria, but which can’t be burned down. Do you know that if you click the first link on the first paragraph of every articles in Wikipedia will lead you back to single page? Do you know what page is that? Yes, Philosophy.   4. Infinity Challenge My fav Korean variety show. They held the highest viewership ratings in South Korea for 10 years. Why? Well, in my opinion, this show has a perfect balance of equation. In this show, the members are set to complete the challenge set by the production crew. It’s the millions of seems to be absurd challenge and the way the members completed each one of it that transform this into a nation’s beloved show.   5. Futurism In here, you could find a glimpse of humanity’s advancement as a species. Poetic as it may seem, Futurism has many great contents that makes you said “Whoa”. It’s a website like this that made me feel that Neil Armstrong famous “Single step for a man, giant leap for a mankind” speech is not just for show.   6. Pulangkantor D’oh   7. Porn Bet you tried to click that link didn’t you? Did you guys seriously think I’d put porn in here? get out.   Well yeah to be fair it’s only five, (six if you count this beautiful website) but those five are like the power ranger, they’re mighty and like morphin(e), addictive. But remember, do it one at a time, not simultaneously, or you could get bored real fast, and after you thought that you had savor the originality of it all, you might check here again, and find some lame post about some lame street names.   Cheerio,
